Tala has several stunning and versatile venues with magnificent views set in the African bush. Our venues can cater for between 60 – 250 guests. If you wish to keep your wedding more private, we can arrange a simple picnic for a small group of people or even an intimate wedding for two.

The Acacia venue seats up to 120 guests inside the hall with the predominant features at Acacia being the tall glass concertina doors that surround this open-plan structure and open out onto the great wooden deck that stretches out towards the watering hole. The wooden deck is an ideal and a very popular option for outdoor wedding ceremonies, especially in the late afternoon with the sun setting in the distance behind the rolling hills. It is also this time of day that animals such as Zebra, Waterbuck, Blue Wildebeest and White Rhino − to name but a few − come down to the watering hole to drink, allowing for exquisite photo opportunities.
Built by a team of artisans with locally sourced shale, Leadwood Lodge combines exceptional architecture, towering thatch and resplendent finishes against a backdrop of breath taking natural beauty. The lodge was designed on an ethic of ‘nothing straight, nothing painted’ and the final results are a masterpiece of earth, water, glass and hardwoods which blends in to its surrounds of open vistas. Leadwood Lodge is a place of relaxation and tranquillity and more of an intimate venue available for weddings and functions under 60 people.

Set in the Tala bush, our Forest Venue is perfectly situated to have a romantic ceremony or a small private picnic wedding in amongst African scenery. The venue seats up to 120 guests and offers a gorgeous area for canapes and welcome drinks before you and your guests make your way to the reception venue. Transfers via game vehicle are available upon request.

The large farmstead building that is Fig Tree Barn has been restored to create a magnificent wedding venue. Hand crafted chandeliers provide soft lighting from the rafters above, creating a dramatic yet gentle effect against the rough plastered walls that are interspersed with floor-to-ceiling mirrors and windows. This spectacular venue is perfect for large weddings of up to 250 people. Perfect for pre-wedding drinks under the canopy of one of our beautiful Fig Trees that lends itself to perfect photo opportunities.
